Our simple promise

For Goodness Sake is designed to collect only what is needed to run memberships, downloads, creative tools, and publishing workflows.

Information we collect

We may collect your email address, account identifier, subscription level, subscription status, newsletter preference, usage counts, saved generator workspace data, prompts you enter, generated or uploaded images, scheduled post data, public publishing metadata, and Pinterest connection settings if you choose to use those features. If password-based access is enabled, your password is handled by our authentication provider and is not stored by us in plain text.

How we use information

We use this information to provide account access, manage subscription status, enforce plan limits, save your workspace, generate requested content, support publishing workflows, send newsletter emails when you opt in, prevent abuse, and maintain billing records. We do not sell your personal information.

Security monitoring

We may keep security logs such as request path, timestamp, response context, account identifier, IP address, browser or crawler user agent, failed access attempts, upload or download activity, and owner/admin actions. These logs are used to protect the site, investigate abuse, understand crawler activity, and maintain an audit trail. We do not intentionally log passwords, full payment card numbers, or unnecessary private content in security logs.

AI content generation

When you use generator features, prompts, source material, and generated outputs may be sent to OpenAI so the requested text or image can be created. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into prompts.

Sensitive connections

Third-party OAuth tokens, such as Pinterest publishing tokens, are stored server-side and encrypted before being saved. They are used only to perform the connected publishing actions you request. Images prepared for Pinterest or other public publishing workflows may be stored at public URLs so those services can access them.

Third-party services

Our site may use service providers such as Vercel, Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, Resend or configured email/list webhooks, Pinterest, and Amazon links to operate the website, authenticate accounts, process memberships, generate content, send email you request, store approved content, and support publishing workflows.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and billing records while needed to operate your account, meet legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, and keep subscriptions accurate. Operational email events are trimmed after about 90 days, security events after about 90 days, usage events after about 400 days, older raw Stripe webhook payloads after about 90 days, and completed or failed scheduled posts after about 180 days. Saved workspace data and public publishing images remain until deleted, replaced, or no longer needed for the feature.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails in account management. You can unlink Pinterest from the generator settings. You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, subject to records we must keep for security, billing, tax, or legal reasons.

External links

Some pages link to external websites, including news sources and Amazon product pages. Their privacy practices are controlled by those websites.
